This page lists directions to the
conference venue from major points in Metro Manila. There are two sets of
directions: one for commuters and one for those using private vehicles and
taxicabs.

A. By Public Transportation
From Pasay/Makati/Mandaluyong via MRT and Jeepney
Board the MRT and get off at Quezon Avenue
Station. You should see a jeepney terminal near the northbound stairs. Take a
UP Campus- Pantranco/MRT jeep and tell the driver to drop you off at the Faculty
Center (FC ). Follow the covered walkway and turn right at A. Roces St. Walk on
until you reach an intersection. The building in front and to your right is Vidal A. Tan Hall, part of the UP NISMED compound.
From Pasay/Makati/Mandaluyong by Bus
Take a Fairview or Lagro bus and tell the
conductor you’re getting off at Philcoa. At Philcoa, take a UP Campus jeep and
tell the driver to drop you off at the Faculty Center (FC). Follow the covered walkway, turning right at
A. Roces St. Walk on until you reach an intersection. The building in front and to your right is Vidal A. Tan Hall, part of the UP NISMED compound.
From Philcoa

From Fairview/Lagro/North Caloocan
Take any bus, FX/UV Express vehicle, or
jeep that passes by Philcoa. Get off at Philcoa and cross to the other side using
the pedestrian overpass (footbridge). Take a UP Campus jeep and tell the driver
to drop you off at the Faculty Center (FC).

From Manila
Take a Fairview/Lagro bus, jeep or FX/UV

B. By Private Vehicle or Taxicab
From Quezon City Memorial Circle
Route 1: From the Quezon City Memorial Circle,
exit the Elliptical Road on to Commonwealth Avenue. Right after the turn is the
Philcoa area; keep right as you pass Citimall, and then bear right
towards the University Avenue. Go
straight on until you reach Quezon Hall (Oblation statue). Turn right, go
straight on, skip the first intersection, and turn left at the second intersection.
You should see some sculptures on the grassy area to your left. Turn left at
the next intersection. The building to your right is the UP NISMED Science Teacher Training Center.
